In the course of a challenge-rich career, I have contributed to multiple projects within some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
From documentation to code delivery, from core banking / payment systems implementations to entire department transformations, I have successfully managed complex and challenging endeavours with high-stake impact to large organisations.
ABOUT ME
Having graduated with a Master's Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), I had the great opportunity to start a career that now spans more than 20 years of experience. Throughout this journey, I met and worked with great people from whom I learnt a wealth of knowledge.
Within the finance IT industry, I have faced many challenges within a variety of roles; from developer to team lead, from project manager to pre-sales consultant including delivery responsibility of large scale engagements. The majority of these focused on core banking and payments spanning from architecture design, and development through to implementation and support.
At the end of the day, I remain in my heart a finance IT engineer with a passion for artificial intelligence, deep learning neural networks and neuro-evolution.
